The PAL Program is an innovative new way of providing Leadership & Communications training for corporations, businesses, groups, organizations and individuals, through the language of horses. Participants in the PAL Program focus on Leadership Development and Interpersonal Communications skills through the Human/Equine interaction — the language of horses.
The PAL Program is designed for both small groups as well as for individual participants. Team-building gone wild, as we call it, the program is geared to corporate leaders, business managers, executives and individual employees at all levels of the business and corporate hierarchy, as well as for any individual who simply wants to improve his or her interpersonal communications, leadership abilities and management skills whether in their professional or personal lives.
We also provide PAL Training for individuals who work within an organization or agency setting such as a not for profit or a natural resource agency. The philosophy is the same, whether you’re working with horses, whether it is in a corporate setting or in an organization. It is all about communication, non-verbal communication, having respect for yourself and for your partners and colleagues, human or equine. It is even helpful in your more personal, interpersonal relationships. While the species may be different, and the behavioral ways are unique to each, communication has the same goal and outcome - for others to understand you and you to understand others. It’s a win/win situation.
Co-founder Janet Rose is a former award-winning broadcast journalist and media consultant and has conducted communications clinics and media training for numerous organizations, individual groups and boards of directors. Chris and Janet are committed to the belief that horses can teach us about ourselves and the way we communicate, in a way that few other living things can and that by listening to and learning through the language of horses, we can improve ourselves, gain a deeper understanding of others and lead betters lives in the workplace and in our personal lives.
